A Top-Official Delegation from Hebron Governorate Visits PTUK

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie and Tulkarem Governorate received a top official delegation from Hebron Governorate, represented by the Governor of Hebron District Kamel Hmeid along with considered figures and renowned persons from different private and official sectors.
The aim of the visit was to discuss means of joint – cooperation regarding Al-Aroub previous Technical College’s mergence to become PTUK’s branch and to discuss the master plan made to achieve integrity for all related parts of the official, local community and private sectors.
In this context, Tulkarem Governor Isam Abu Baker, representing the State of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas and the Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah, expressed gratitude highlighting the importance of keeping the on-going relationship between the two governorates, which will give rise to sustaining the development of the university’s educational journey.
For his part, Hebron Governor Kamel Hmeid stressed the strong relationship between the governorates of Hebron and Tulkarm considering Hebron's official visit a broad historical representation and a clear evidence of their great interest in Al - Aroub branch considering it a major priority.
The University President Prof Marwan Awartani welcomed the visitors pointing out the urgent needs of the university and its branches as it is considered the state university for technical and vocational learning.
He also stressed the necessity to provide funding for all of the university’s parts and facilities made it possible for the private sectors to invest in education.
He went on briefing the different challenges facing Kadoorie since it was turned to a state university presenting, though, the future university projects that have to be funded, in addition to holding international conferences as well as receiving international scientists and scholars to exchange expertise.
