PTUK Receives a Delegation from Portland Trust Foundation

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by its President Assistant Dr. Dirar Elyyan and the Faculty Deans, received a delegation from Portland Trust Foundation headed by its Managing Director Yehya Shenar to discuss means of joint cooperation between the university and the foundation.
The meeting aimed to exchange expertise and share information throughout their pioneering programs in serving the community in different aspects in order to create new partnerships, which will leverage the university’s role in sustaining the community development.
Dr. Elyyan welcomed the delegates assuring on the importance of the meeting, which came within the framework of the university’s future prospects in developing its laboratories and research centers giving rise to creating new job opportunities in the local and international markets.
For their turns, the Faculty Deans showed in detail the university’s current development exploring its research projects and centers and its strong relationship with the local community throughout technology transfer and application on real life uses.
