PTUK Hosts a Workshop on Family Protection Law Bill

Palestine Technical University-Kadoorie hosted a workshop on Family Protection Law Bill and the obstacles facing passing this law in the framework of an initiative launched by the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organization Against Domestic Violence Against Women in conjunction with the global campaign against violence.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs at the University- Dr. Hussein Shank and representatives of partner institutions in addition to scores of students.
In this context, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hussein Shank explained that the university is keen on establishing partnerships with civil institutions, especially those that aim at women empowerment.
For her part, the Coordinator of the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organization Against Domestic Violence Against Women in Tulkarem, Ra’eda Awad referred to the contributions of this workshop in the clarification of the role of the organization in helping abused women.
