Dr. Imran Aliyan Participates in High-level Consultative Group Meeting to Counter Terrorism

The Dean of Community Services and Development at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Dr. Imran Aliyan had been elected to take part in a consultative meeting as State of Palestine representative at the General Assembly of the League of Arab States in Cairo to discuss agenda of countering terrorism which was held on Monday and Tuesday, 12-13 February 2018.
Dr. Aliyan was chosen to be one of the members of the Arab team of experts to study the reality of terrorist action in the Arab world and to develop an integrated vision and a comprehensive plan to eliminate terrorism proceeding the action plan approved by the Council of Ministers of Arab Social Affairs by its decision No. 835 at its 37th session in the State of Kuwait on 13-14 November 2017.
Dr. Aliyan explained that the plan will focus on the social analysis of the terrorism phenomenon.
