PTUK Concludes its Participation in the Turkish-Arab Universities Conference

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has concluded its participation in the Turkish-Arab Universities Conference events, organized by Istanbul Aydın Universityin coordination with the Association of Arab Universities, held between 13 – 15 February, 2018 in Istanbul, with the participation of more than 170 Arab and Turkish universities under the title “regional challenges and opportunities according to Arab and Turkish universities”.
PTUK’s team, headed by Dr. Saed Mallak, delivered a broad overview of the university, its development, objectives and the means it pursues towards globalization like the academic and students research exchange as well as the organization of international conferences on a regular basis.
On the conference sideline, Dr. Malak said that many Arab and Turkish universities have been contacted and discussed future ways of signing joint memoranda of understanding.
It has been suggested, in the concluding session, to call for the establishment of an Arab-Turkish university that aim to strengthen the Arab-Turkish communication and to attract students and faculty members from both sides, he added.
Meanwhile, the university delegation who were comprised of Sead Mallak, Dr. Muheeb Abu Lawha and Dr. Isam Ayyash took part in the Eurasia 2018 Higher Education Summit: EURIE that included an exhibition with the participation of 500 universities to introduce Palestinian and Arab universities.
PTUK’s booth has been visited by a large part of the university students who were given introductions and brochures about the Israeli violations against Kadoorie University and the extent of development and prosperity in the university.
