Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, Ramallah Branch, represented by the University President, Prof. Marwan Awartani, in presence of Ramallah Branch Director Dr. Murad Awadallah, signed a partnership agreement with the Palestine Organization for Community Development, represented by its Chairman, Abdulaziz Zahran.
The purpose of the agreement is to deepen the university’s relationship with the community institutions and to invest the capacities available in the country offering a number of scholarships for the students.
The agreement focuses on the role of the Palestine Organization for Community Development in providing a number of scholarships through implementing a student card project with no more than 10 thousand JD in an academic year for the enrolled students of Ramallah branch which will alleviate the financial burden on the poor families.
Prof Awartani appreciated the signed cooperation calling for more work to be done to allow all students study in a safe environment at the university putting away any obstacles that may come across.
