PTUK Concludes First Stage Events of Web Network Initiative

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie hosted the closing events - first stage - of the web network initiative entitled “A Better Future for Our Sons” that was organized by Fatima Al Zahra’ School as well as the launch of second stage in sponsorship with a group of the School’s patrons on official and civil levels.
A set of artistic composures were organized that touched the actual uses of technology and its reflection on the community and highlighted the purpose of the initiative throughout the presentation of plays and shows that actualized the life of students and their families in facing social media and its effects on the students’ psychological health.
The Dean of the Science and Art College, Dr. Rabab Jarrar encouraged the organizers of the initiative to look forward to achieving more success through their systematic and progressive efforts, explaining that internet and social media have the double-impact effectiveness which can be useful and unavoidable these days; dangerous and destructive upon the students’ characters.
The Headmistress of Fatima Alzahra’ School, Samar Abdulqader believed in her responsibility, through their decent team working, to establish a deep societal partnership with a group of institutions and universities in order to disseminate the culture of positive coexistence with the internet aiming at generalizing the initiative in Palestine.
