The university aims to keep abreast of scientific and international developments and seeks to achieve the directives of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in achieving quality and quality in higher education.
Based on the goals set by the administration in order to offer rarer specializations of a technical nature in line with strategic plans, and to meet the needs of the Palestinian economy, the university decided to add a specialization in marketing and e-commerce for the academic year 2023/2024.
The major seeks to prepare scientifically qualified human cadres in line with the state of development and the requirements of the times, as well as provide the student with the theoretical and professional foundations that support practical practices in the field of marketing and e-commerce.
A graduate of the Marketing and E-commerce program is expected to be able to understand the practice of e-commerce from an administrative and applied point of view, and to make commercial decisions that lead to raising the level of the institution’s performance, as well as developing the market shares of the institution through electronic spaces and learning modern technological methods in the field of developing marketing and e-commerce at the international and local levels.
• Preparing distinguished human cadres capable of understanding and discussing modern technical methods and systems related to the management of marketing, e-commerce, and virtual institutions and how to manage them.
• Providing students with the necessary skills to understand and analyze advanced technical methods and systems related to marketing and e-commerce, in addition to the ability to interact with Internet infrastructure and information systems and manage digital projects.
• Keeping abreast of scientific and technical developments in the fields of marketing and e-commerce, and introducing students to the principles of digital operations and their intersections with other commercial fields.
• Deep understanding of concepts and issues related to technology applications in the areas of marketing, finance, management, accounting, and others.
• Emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive and multidisciplinary analysis between the areas of technology (information systems, Internet technology, databases, networks) and commercial sciences (accounting, economics, finance, marketing).
• Providing students with the necessary skills to use information technologies and the Internet to find new opportunities and creative solutions that allow commercial organizations to improve their operations and expand their scope through marketing and e-commerce applications.
