Diploma of Industrial Automation integrable path

  • About

The industrial automation program was established in response to the wide and rapid developments in the field of electrical engineering in recent decades especially in the field of automatic control which includes building electrical circuits designing industrial systems and the process of linking the control unit to the production unit.
The program looks forward to qualifying graduates with high engineering and professional competencies by focusing on the practical aspect through transferring students to the labor market during academic studies for a period of no less than six months to qualify them to enter the labor market more quickly or start their own entrepreneurial projects.

  • Objectives and Outcomes

    • Provide opportunities for students both scientific and industrial to complete their intermediate university studies in many fields of engineering.
    • Reduce academic unemployment by graduating technicians who have the ability to link the academic aspect with the requirements of the labor market.
    • Strengthen the relationship between the local community and the university.

The graduates of this program are expected to demonstrate:
    • Skills in electrical maintenance for factories public and private facilities.
    • Skills in designing and implementing lighting fixtures and programmed industrial control for factories.
    • Skills in using the most up to date computer programs used in maintenance.
    • Ability to work with the latest laboratory panels and equipment in the field of industrial control extensions and machines.
    • Capability of installing and maintaining modern control panels.

  • Career Opportunities

    • Factories including food and petrochemical factories.
    • Household electrical installations.
    • Production lines and maintenance operations.
    • Modern software systems electric motors and energy measuring devices.
