    The natural resources and forests in Palestine are exposed to many challenges that may lead to the ‎depletion and scarcity of these resources and the lack of availability for future generations.‎
    Several studies have shown that the main problems that threaten the natural resources and the ‎forestry sector in Palestine are: The Israeli occupation policy uses more than 85% of the Palestinian ‎water resources; further Palestinian land is used by Israel for constructing settlement projects and ‎military bases.‎
    In this sense it is necessary to find an academic program based on scientific and logical foundations ‎for promoting natural resources and forests in Palestine and preserving those resources for four other ‎generations. ‎

    General Goals
    Contribute to the sustainable development of society by developing and increasing the effectiveness of its ‎institutions.‎
    By providing it with qualified cadres attending the local community can build its institutions and participate ‎effectively in its various activities.‎
    Providing the community with experienced cadres capable of dealing with environmental problems threatens ‎the resources.‎
    ‎ Contribute to achieving communication and integration between higher education institutions and the local ‎community with its various sectors interested in related fields.‎

    Specific Goals
    Focus on the role of natural resources land water and forests and their contribution to the Palestinian ‎economy and create programs and plans for their development sustainability and preservation the ‎dangers that threaten them in light of the conflict with the Israeli enemy.‎
    ‎ Focus on the importance of forests protected areas and rangelands in the ecosystem and ecological balance.‎
    ‎ To motivate scientific research by contributing to creative solutions to natural resources problems in soil ‎land water environment and forestry.‎
    Create qualified students who are fully aware of the natural resources land water and forests available in ‎Palestine.‎
    Strengthen the capacity of graduates in the areas of soil and land resource management conservation ‎monitoring and sustainability.‎
    Enhance the capacity of graduates in the management of surface and groundwater resources and the ‎exploitation of rainwater to contribute to the preservation and sustainability of this essential source ‎especially in the Palestinian territories which suffer a water crisis.‎
    Strengthening the capacity of graduates in management and sustainability of environmental resources and ‎conservation for future generations.‎
    Enhance the capacity of graduates in forest management conservation development and development and ‎reduce their degradation.
