A delegation from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie met with the members of Anabta Municipality, headed by its Mayor “Hamdallah Hamdallah”, to discuss means of joint cooperation and to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions, following up the university cooperation agenda over developing Anabta village.
In this context, the University President Assistant for Public and Community Relations Ahmad Amar explained that the visit came after the open meeting hosted by the Municipality with the University President Prof. Marwan Awartani in which he stressed the university role, being a “University without walls”, in the community service and development.
Several points were discussed that can be worked on to serve and develop the local community such as the protection of the agricultural lands, developing new ways of pests control, projects investment, students’ competency development and vocational education enhancement.
