Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie celebrated the honoring ceremony of Ma’rouf Tirad Alshaikh Mahmoud family for their late father’s pioneering role in supporting the poor and distinguished students throughout a scholarship dedicated to PTUK.
PTUK’s President Prof Marwan Awartani explained Tirad’s sustainable work serving education which contributed to consolidate stability and decent living for the Palestinian youth and to last long his good deeds especially in education.
Prof Marwan considered of what had been presented by the late Tirad a national model to support the Palestinian education making it an individual approach geared to have a replicable model for attaining developed education in Palestine.
For their part, Tirad’s family, represented by their son Ma’rouf, appreciated the University administration’s gesture, affirming their interest in continuing the support and good deeds that their father has begun.
