The German Expert Paul Roland Visits PTUK

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie received Prof. Paul Roland the German expert in the field of water and environmental sciences within the scope work of the Palestinian – German Science Bridge to discuss cooperation and develop the scientific research in the university.
Prof. Roland is specialized in bio – and geosciences in the German Julich Institute who aimed at developing the research abilities in the Palestinian universities.
For her part, the Dean of Scientific Research at PTUK, Dr. Rana Samara pointed out that Prof. Roland’s visit to the Palestinian universities aimed at raising the research effectiveness throughout expanding cooperation and research exchange programs with the German counterparts, in addition to maximizing joint projects and sharing experiences with the Palestinian universities.
“The program looks forward to developing the students’ abilities in the academic programs and in the fields of botany, neuroscience, atomic physics, renewable energy and climatology,”she added.
The program will also include exchanging scientific visits extended to six months to hold workshops and training courses.
