PTUK Joins International Cleanup Day 2018

As a response to the United Nation’s call and to celebrate a clean, environment-friendly community, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by its President Prof. Nour Abu Rub, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nafe’ Assaf, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alaa Isa as well as the University Staff and the community service students have joined voluntary work to participate in the World Cleanup Day 2018, which was dated on September 15.
The event has also been attended by Tulkarem Governor, Isam Abu Baker, and the Chairperson of the Environment Quality Authority, Adala Atiri along with civil, official and educational representatives.
In this context, the University President Prof Abu Rub maximized attention to participating in such activities which enhance the University’s orientations toward citizenship values to build an active community, magnify the noble values of humanity and maintain clean and safe environment.
The participants started cleaning Tulkarem streets and facilities during the cleanup week activities. Also, a group of students painted murals on the University walls which viewed beauty around the public streets.
