Within Mihniti Project: PTUK and Al Thana’ Industry Sign MOU

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Thana’ Company for Trade and Industry within the framework of Mihniti Project for integrated education on October 30, 2018 to foster cooperation between the faculty staff and the labor market institutions.
“The agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration to grant the students of Industrial Automation Diploma Program an integrated educational track so that they could have a long term training opportunity during their academic study to apply theoretical learning in industry,” the Project Coordinator, Mohammad Jallad stated.
The Chair of the Steering Committee of the Project, Dr. Arafat Zidan commended this type of partnership which bridges the gap between the labor market needs with the educational outcomes, thanking in this regard Al Thana’ Company for their cooperation over giving the chance for the students to start practicing their knowledge.
The General Manager of the Company, Omar Hamza, considered the signed cooperation with PTUK a good chance for the company to serve the local community and to ease the youth engagement in the labor markets in the economic fields.
