Arab Bank Initiates Osool Accounting Training Course for Business Students

The Dean of the Business and Economics College at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Dr. Ahmad Shweikeh inaugurated a training course within “Osool” Program targeting the students of Business College with the aim of raising their awareness in the banking systems; the inauguration came in presence of the Director of PTUK’s Entrepreneurship Center for Accounting Sciences (ECAS), Dr. Mohammad Sleimi and the Director of the Arab Bank’s North Branches, Isam Salamah.
The training program included six topics that shed light on the companies’ products and services, excellence in customer service, electronic services, positive thinking, individual services and team work-building.
“Linking theory with practice to meet the Palestinian labor market needs is our strategy aiming at developing the students’ professional skills in the managerial and financial sciences administered by the high efficiency of the faculty staff in the University,”Dr. Shweikeh said.
Dr. Sleimi thanked the Arab Bank for the excellent training course which conspicuously contributes to the improvement of the students’ skills having extensive practical training to learn the working mechanism in the Arab Bank and to update them about the latest banking systems, which definitely ease their engagement in the labor market.
“Osool Program has been achieving great goals since the launch year in 2006,” explaining Salamah, adding that the Arab Bank has always been keen to provide targeted programs for the service and empowerment of the local community.
