Kadoorie Concludes a Series of Workshops on Active Learning Quality and Evaluation Measures

The Central Quality Committee at Palestine Technical University -Kadoorie organized a series of specialized workshops which targeted more than a hundred academics from various university faculties concerning the topics of active learning, classroom management and basic concepts in higher education quality and Educational Measurement.
In this context, Dr. Murad Awad Allah- the Chairman of the Committee and the Director of the Quality unit at the university explained that “the series of workshops came in the framework of the continuous endeavor to improve quality, and the continuous effort to spread the culture of quality and efficiency amongst the academic staff at the university”
Such workshops come in line with the university’s mission to develop the capabilities of its academic staff and thus raise the expected outputs of university education.
Dr. Awad Allah, and the members of the committee Dr. Mahmoud Salah( Assistant of the Vice President of Academic Affairs) and Ms. Agadeer Barakat(a lecturer in the Faculty of Economics) stressed the need to enhance the efficiency of the academic staff at the university, as they have a clear reflection on the performance of the students and the sustainable development of the academic component.
