PTUK Rector Receives the New Representative of India

The president of Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie, Prof. Marwan Awartani convened with H.E. the new representative of India H.E. Anish Rajan to discuss prospects of joint cooperation in the field of higher education with the presence of the vice presidents of academic and administrative affairs, university deans and the heavy presence of Indian universities alumni.
In this context, Prof. Marwan Awartani praised the strategic relations of India, referring to India's position politically, educationally and economically and its role in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He also stressed the depth of friendship between Palestine and India calling for expanding the horizons of joint cooperation and the employment potential for the development of the educational reality.
For his part, H.E. Rajan stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Indian Representative and Kadoorie University, expressing his country's readiness for sustainable partnership and cooperation in the field of educational scholarships and educational programs pledging to establish an Indian sponsored vocational center similar to the one erected in Palestine Polytechnic University
in Hebron.
