Final Recommendations of the First Palestinian International Conference on Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy

Kadoorie concluded the events of the First Palestinian International Conference on Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy which was held at the University’s campus between 19-20/2/2017.
The event included a number of international experts who delivered lectures on the peaceful uses of atomic energy in various fields including medicine, agriculture, water, environment and science and recommended the following:
Establishing a national institute for peaceful nuclear research and encouraging Palestinian universities to introduce new academic programs and disciplines related to peaceful uses of atomic energy.
Holding similar conferences regularly and unifying the efforts of Palestinian universities to benefit from atomic energy and its peaceful applications.
