The lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Communications at Palestine Technical University –Kadoorie- Dr. Ala’ Shabana was awarded a gold medal certificate by Putra Malaysia University.
Dr. Shabana participated in the contest organized by Putra University in a project under the title Highly Sensitive Ammonia Sensor Using Tapered Optical Fiber Sensor Coated with Zinc Oxide Nanostructures is used in the protection, security and safety technologies in various fields.
In this context,Shabana expressed his happiness in this achievement stressing the importance of incorporating nanotechnology within graduate studies.
