PTUK Holds Information Session on Erasmus+ 3EEE Project

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie organized an internal information session to introduce the audience about the Erasmus+ 3EEE Project “Flipped Practical Courses Via Triple Learning Environments by Triple Experts through Triple Enhance Programs,” which is funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
The session was started with a welcoming speech by the University Acting President, Prof. Husein Shanak in presence of the 3EEE Project Director, Dr. Nuha Iter as well as deans and specialized academic staff from Kadoorie University.
The acting president congratulated Kadoorie University and the project director who created the project’s theme and idea that links the academic process with the labor market to maintain maximum benefit for the service of the educational process.
Prof. Shanak praised Dr. Iter’s efforts for her leadership in the field of international projects, especially since it is not the first time that she had won an international project led by other local and international universities at the national level, indicating that this contributes to maximizing the university's academic position in the world on the one hand, and to the development of the university’s infrastructure and human resources on the other, in addition to the constructive and practical outputs produced by these projects and their positive impact on higher education in Palestine.
For her part, the project Director, Dr. Nuha Iter presented the four-year project starting from the initiative idea through the implementation mechanism to the valuable expected outputs by empowering the students practically and academically and improving their employment opportunities.
“This can be done through analyzing the job descriptions in the labor market, developing academic courses in universities, and trialing them to evaluate the students’ activities and other pre-studied procedures,” Dr. Iter added.
She also outlined the project details explaining that Kadoorie University, the 3EEE project leader, is shared by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to ten local and international universities from several countries such as Portugal, Greece, Germany, and Slovenia, hoping that this cooperation will achieve the promising goals.
