Kadoorie Participates in Administrative Meeting for ICT4EDU

Kadoorie University participated in the special administrative meeting of the European research project ICT4EDU, funded by Erasmus Plus. The meeting took place at the University of Bucharest in Romania and was attended by the university's Assistant President for Branch Affairs, Dr. Darrar Alian, and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jazzar. The project team included representatives from partner universities in Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Finland, Romania, Portugal, Italy, and Cyprus.

Project coordinator Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jazzar explained that the project focuses on enhancing the quality and competencies of information and communication technology for early childhood educators in higher education institutions in the Middle East and North Africa. This aligns with European Union practices, ultimately promoting the quality of early childhood education in the participating countries involved in this international research project.

The ICT4EDU project encompasses several Jordanian, Egyptian, Palestinian, and European universities, totaling 13 partner universities, including Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Mutah University, Independence University, Al-Azhar University in Egypt, Suez Canal University, Heliopolis University in Egypt, Frederick University in Cyprus, University of Bucharest, Porto Technical University in Italy, University of Padua, and the University of Jordan as the administrative and organizing institution for the project.
