Kadoorie University Ranks Second in Times World Ranking

President of Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, Prof. Hussein Shanak congratulated the university community on its inaugural participation in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, focusing on Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting the university's second-place ranking in Palestine and significant advancements in sustainable development fields, and praising the team's dedicated efforts in enhancing the university's global stature.

Kadoorie University achieved notable recognition, securing a position in the 601-800 category among over 2000 global universities evaluated in THE Impact Rankings 2024.

In this context, Prof. Shanak emphasized these achievements as pivotal milestones, enhancing the university's international reputation, and affirmed the university's commitment to further progress in alignment with its developmental plans, aiming to elevate educational, research, and societal contributions in the years ahead.

Assistant to the President for Governance, Prof. Said Malak highlighted Kadoorie University's standout performance in achieving advanced global rankings in quality education 101-200 globally and clean water and sanitation 201-300 globally categories as reported by Times Higher Education.

He noted the university's strategic focus on expanding and diversifying its goals across all seventeen Sustainable Development Goals in future assessments, building on its successful ranking experience.
