PTUK Obtains PhD in Applied Mathematics

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has obtained a PhD program in the Applied Mathematics from Academic Quality Assurance Committee (AQAC) of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and will begin to be taught in the academic year 2023 – 2024.

“An academic progress of Kadoorie University after witnessing expansion of plans and development in multiple fields particularly graduate studies and high-quality technical education,” the President Prof. Abualrob proudly commented.

The dean of graduate studies, Dr. Husein Shanak explained that the mathematics program has always been the key subject of Kadoorie University since its first establishment in 2009 in a belief that it is the core science of all other sciences in the universe.

The program coordinator, Dr. Saed Mallak said that the program provides the highest level of academic study and applied research with a vision that aspires to create an environment of excellence and creativity among the faculty members and students whose potential scientific knowledge and research experience will contribute to solving critical problems in engineering sciences, economy, technology, and social sciences.
