Media Technology Department at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie organized a media seminar entitled “ Palestinian Media and the Future Prospective” presented by the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicator , Naser Abu Baker in presence of the Dean of Arts and Sciences College, Dr. Rabab Jarar, Head of the Media Technology Department, Dr. Mohammad Ishtewi, University students, syndicate member staff and others.
Dr. Rabab explained in detail the aim of the Media Technology Department, which has been recently adopted in the university, is to qualify and raise the students’ abilities and awareness in Media fit to modernity. She added on that the idea of this department is the first of its kind in Palestine.
For his part, Dr. Ishtewi stated that this seminar is one of the multiple future ones that will be organized for the department in purpose of raising the student’s awareness to the Palestinian Media system.
In this context, Abu Baker commended the role of the department, for its special and quality addition to the local media, stressing the importance of qualifying the students with special techniques in the Media that are required for the labor market.
