PTUK – Al Aroub Forms First Friendship Committee

Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie had successfully held the first constituent meeting for the newly-formed friendship committee in Al Aroub Branch. This came in presence of the president of Palestine Technical University, Prof. Marwan Awartani, Hebron governor, Kamel Hmeid, Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education, Dr. Ihab Qubaj, AlAroub Branch Director, Dr. Muheeb Abu Lawha and other considerable officials and persons.
Prof. Marwan Awartani stressed the necessity of enhancing the vocational and technical education system in the state thanking the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and Higher Education for the merging decision by which a big national and educational project, named Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie across the nation, is in progress.
The University President finished his words expressing the keenness of engaging in this honorable national and educational project appreciating the role of different community sectors.
In this context, AlAroub Branch Director assured the key effective role of this important meeting and of the committee formation in the first technical governmental university in Hebron and Bethlehem pointing to the community response in supporting AlAroub.

In his turn, Hebron Governor praised the new form of the coordination between the different community associations and Alaroub branch in one hand while he accentuated for the opportunity of having a governmental and technical university in another.

In the closing events, a constituent council for the university friends was formed consisting of 14 members with the presidency of Hebron Governor, Kamel Hmeid.
