Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by its Library Director, Dr. Awni Alsous and its E-library Director, Diana Qarsou’, took part in the first meeting for the Palestinian Library and Information Consortium – PALICO for the academic year 2017 – 2018.
The representatives discussed means of registrations in the databases of the year 2018 especially for those related to Eiffel Library Database and the free databases of PALICO 2018 in addition to following up the registration in EBSCO Database through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Dr. Alsous pointed out that the university is already registered in six free databases as well as a registration in the Directory of Open Access Journals– DOAJ that is in charge of the free journals to setting up free book database called DOAB, which also contains nearly 9000 titles.
He also stressed that PTUK is looking forward to be an active member in all vocational associations in the Arab Nation.
