Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by H.E Prof Marwan Awartani, his Vice President, Dr. Mu’tamid AlKatib, the Faculty Deans and Directors of the University Centers received the artificial intelligence expert, Prof Ammar Tawfeeq Ammar.
The meeting with Prof Ammar was to expand knowledge of the university’s staff and students throughout meeting his personal and scientific experience and to review the university’s plans, programs and techniques, in addition to exposing the students to the mechanisms of obtaining scientific capabilities.
During the meeting, The Faculty Dean of Engineering, Dr. Makram Abbassaid that the university is always keen to receive and deal with scientists and scholars in the diaspora throughout enabling them to transfer their knowledge, experiences, successes and scientific contributions to the researchers and academics in the nation.
Prof. Ammar stressed the importance of science and technology in building strong, developed communities adding that artificial intelligence has to be invested and acquainted; hence, calling for participation to implement patent-led programs.
