The Organizing Committee set up the agenda for first meeting at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie to begin the preparations of organizing the Women Conference.
Participating in the meeting were representative women from The General Union of Palestinian Women, Palestinian Women's Development Society, Palestinian Working Women Society for Development, Palestinian Women and Security and a member staff from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie.
The University President Assistant for Public and Community Relations Ahmad Ammar highlighted the idea behind this conference falls within the university’s prospect of enabling and enhancing the role of women in the community pointing to the success achieved by PTUK in the previous women conference.
For his part, the Head of Community Service at the university Dr. Khalid Asia stressed the potential outcomes made out of the conference organizing committee for developing the community culture in a positive manner.
