The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof Marwan Awartani received a delegation from Karmi Cultural Salon to discuss means of cultural development in Tulkarem District at school and university levels.
A variety of activities were reviewed, that had been previously carried out, including the hosting of poets, writers, intellectuals, expatriate students, artists and novelists.
During the visit, the delegates affirmed the university’s important role in leveraging the cultural status of Tulkarem city, commending the role of the University President Prof Awartani in embodying the university’s identity as state university without borders.
