    PTUK and “Teach for Palestine” Sign MoU to Advance Education

    Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, represented by its President Prof. Hussein Shanak, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Teach for Palestine, represented by its Chairperson Dr. Tafida Al-Jarbawi, in a step that reflects the University’s commitment to expanding national partnerships and contributing to the advancement of the education sector in Palestine.

    The agreement aligns with PTUK’s vision of building integrative partnerships that bridge academic expertise and civil society engagement to enhance the quality of education and generate sustainable impact within the Palestinian educational landscape.

    Prof. Shanak emphasized that the MoU underscores the University’s commitment to engaging with leading national institutions and leveraging its academic and research capacities to support educational development, while enhancing students’ and graduates’ roles in community and volunteer work.

    Dr. Al-Jarbawi noted that the partnership represents a significant step toward aligning institutional and academic efforts to develop inclusive educational practices and prepare teachers capable of addressing contemporary educational needs.

    The MoU aims to implement joint programs and initiatives focused on improving the educational process through collaboration in scientific research, training, and capacity building. It also supports applied research linked to the organization’s programs and encourages student and graduate engagement in educational and volunteer activities.

    Areas of cooperation include accrediting Teach for Palestine as a field training and volunteer platform for PTUK students, facilitating knowledge exchange, and strengthening the integration of theoretical and practical learning to enhance inclusive education practices and improve school education quality.

    This collaboration reaffirms PTUK’s commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at improving education quality, in alignment with Teach for Palestine’s mission to deliver quality education at the elementary level through teacher development in inclusive education, life skills, digital transformation, STEAM methodologies, psychosocial support, and climate education, alongside improving classroom environments through modern educational tools and technologies.
