    PTUK Students Participate in Palestine AI Conference 2026

    Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK) participated with a distinguished student delegation from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Palestine Artificial Intelligence Conference 2026, held at the Birzeit University Technopark.

    The conference was organized in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education and several national ministries and institutions, under the patronage and participation of Mohammad Mustafa.

    PTUK’s participation in this significant national event reflects its ongoing commitment to engaging students in modern technological fields, particularly Artificial Intelligence, as a key driver of the digital economy. The university recognizes AI’s potential to create high-quality job opportunities and strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems.

    During the conference, PTUK students took part in a range of scientific seminars and specialized panel discussions addressing the latest developments in AI applications and its expanding role across various sectors, particularly in industry, services, and digital transformation.

    Students also explored practical experiences through visits to exhibition booths of participating companies and institutions, where they learned about internship and employment opportunities. The event provided them with valuable opportunities to engage directly with industry representatives, build professional networks, and gain insights into the key skills required in the digital labor market.

    In this context, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Moatamad Al-Khatib, emphasized that this participation aligns with the university’s strategic vision to prepare competitive graduates capable of thriving in the digital economy. He highlighted the importance of integrating academic knowledge with practical experience and strengthening partnerships with both public and private sectors to better align educational outcomes with evolving labor market demands.

    PTUK also commended the efforts behind organizing the conference, stressing the importance of sustaining such high-quality national initiatives that support digital transformation and enhance Palestine’s position in advanced technology and innovation sectors.
