Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK), represented by the Deanship of Development and Community Service – Continuing Education Department, graduated 38 trainees out of 39 participants enrolled in two training courses on hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance technology, after completing the required 100 training hours.
The two courses were organized as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen high-quality vocational and technical training programs and respond to the growing labor market demand for modern vehicle technologies, including hybrid and electric vehicles. The courses also provided trainees with access to the University’s specialized training and laboratory facilities.
Dean of Development Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Raed Al-Qarout, said that the Continuing Education Department has become an important specialized center for offering professional training courses in the maintenance and technology of modern vehicles. He noted the strong demand for these courses, which provide specialized practical training aligned with the rapid developments in the automotive sector and the evolving needs of the labor market.
Al-Qarout explained that the quality of the training is supported by specialized expertise and qualified professionals, as well as the well-equipped laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering, which provide the necessary facilities for practical training. He also commended the efforts of Eng. Ibrahim Youssef, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department and course trainer, for providing high-quality training to the participants.
He added that the Continuing Education Department is preparing to launch two new courses in the same field in the future, as part of its strategic plan to sustain specialized vocational and technical training and expand training programs that address the needs of the community and labor market.
The graduation ceremony was attended, alongside Dean of Development and Community Service Dr. Raed Al-Qarout, by Director of the Continuing Education Department Mr. Amer Yassin, Head of the Training and Development Section Mr. Murad Al-Daama, and course trainer Eng. Ibrahim Youssef.
