Celebrating the International Day of the Arabic Language, Palestine has concluded participation in the International Conference for Linguistic Laws, Legislations, regulations, Policies and Planning that was organized by the General Assembly of the Department of the Cultural and Civilization Dialogue in the Arab League in collaboration with the International Council of Arabic Language and the Arab Parliament under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Arab League, Mr. Ahmad Abu Al-Ghait.
The Associate Professor at Kadoorie University, Dr. Jamal Qasou’ represented Palestine through the nomination of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and thanked the conference organizers for their great efforts leveraging and preserving the status of the Arabic language.
He called, in his speech, for unifying the efforts with respect to the regulations and laws by forming groups of linguists under the supervision of the Arab League to come up with a single linguistic system for all the Arab countries.
