Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie inaugurated Kuwait’s electronic library which was equipped with a generous donation from the Kuwaiti people. The opening ceremony was attended by the university’s vice president of financial affairs-Dr.Nafeyh Assaf, the vice president of academic affairs- Dr.Saed Mallak, head of the Kuwaiti Association for Assisting Students -Talal Abdul Karim Al-Arab, the Chairman of Al-Zaytuna Association- Malek Tayyem and the director of the university’s library- Dr. Awni Al-Sous and a number of the universities deans. In this occasion, Dr. Al- Sous extended his thanks to the people of Kuwait for their continued support to the Palestinian universities and the needy students, referring to the impact of the Kuwaiti support on enhancing the services offered to students and facilitating access to sources of science and global knowledge with minimal effort. In turn, Tayyem referred to the role that the library will play in providing services to students, professors and researchers by providing them with a large number of books and references in various fields, stressing the importance of optimizing the library and achieving scientific and educational goals. Tayyem also added that the inauguration of the electronic library in Kadoorie comes in the framework of joint cooperation between Al-Zaytuna" and the Kuwaiti Society to help the Palestinian students.
