Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie took part in the second management meeting of the 3DGarT Project in Italy, supported by the EU's Erasmus+ program, represented by project coordinator Dr. Mahmoud Jazar.
Dr. Jazar explained that the meeting included presentations and discussions on the project's achievements in its first year, such as capacity building, technology transfer, and curriculum development for 3D clothing design at partner universities.
The meeting also covered the project's quality report, administrative and financial plans for the first year, and preparation of the annual financial and technical report, as well as the provision of necessary 3D design equipment.
Dr. Jazar presented the annual quality report, highlighting the university's role as the leader in quality control and performance, and emphasizing the project's importance in advancing 3D clothing design in partner countries, fostering technology transfer, knowledge exchange, and enhancing partnerships among project members.
The project underscores the university's commitment to developing educational and technological competencies in 3D clothing design, solidifying its position as a leader in academic innovation locally and internationally.
The meeting included coordinators from partner institutions: Nablus University for Vocational and Technical Education, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, the Greek Center for Creative Thinking CRETHIDEV, the Hellenic International University, the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Technology Center CITEVE, and the Italian European Training Center CIAPE.
