PTUK TVETCQ Starts Scientific Visits in European Universities


Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has just started the scientific visits including multiple European universities as part of the TVETCQ project’s activities that is funded by the European Union. The project “Development of TVET Pedagogical Competences and Qualification in Palestinian Universities” is totally led by Kadoorie University in partnership with many Palestinian universities and ministries including: An-Najah University, Al-Quds University, the Applied Sciences University College, Palestine Polytechnic University, the Arab-American University, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor. The university’s delegation to Europe included the project coordinator, Dr. Nuha Iter, the President Assistant for Infrastructure, Dr. Maan Khatib, the Dean of Palestine Technical College, Dr. Rami Yousef, the Al-Aroub branch director, Dr. Bilal Younis, the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Mahmoud Ismaeel. The visit program included training events in France and Belgium that serve the subjects of higher technical training and education, integrated training, blended education as a different learning style, resemblance of educational policies between French and Palestinian technical education, as well as other additional visits to some universities of successful learning approaches in technical education.
