The Deanship of Development and Community Service at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has signed a number of MOUs with different local and international institutions to bring in as much expertise as possible to the Palestinian community in vocational and technical fields aiming at developing the individuals’ competencies, expanding their awareness, and increasing the business opportunities.
The Dean of Development and Community Service, Dr. Maan Khatib said that “the Deanship is looking forward to sustaining diverse partnerships with long-experienced business companies and other institutions so that the university could provide services for the students everywhere in the country.”
The signed MOUs included cooperation with Zakat Committee in Qalqiliah, to hold joint training workshops, with Tulkarem Chamber of Commerce to develop the vocational and technical training in Tulkarem and to conduct studies and joint projects funding, with the Early Learning Center within the framework of Direct English and Pingu’s English programs which target school and university students as well as degree – seeking students, and another MOU signed with the American Accounting Association to start implementing international accounting training courses in CIA, CMA, CPA and CFA particularly for the students of Applied Accounting Systems and other auditors and accountants.
