Engineers Mufid Alawneh and Yazid Alawneh, from the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, participated in the Fourth International Conference of Young Scientists.
The conference was held in Sochi, Russia, from November 27 to November 29, 2024, under the theme: “Priorities in Scientific and Technological Development: Shaping the Future Today,” which has brought together representatives from academia, governmental organizations, private corporations, and public associations in Russia, as well as young scientists from around the world.
Commenting on his participation, Engineer Yazid Alawneh emphasized that the conference reflects the university's commitment to academic openness and international research presence. This engagement strengthens the university’s academic quality and fosters opportunities for collaboration by connecting with leading scientific figures from various fields, particularly in engineering and technology. He expressed gratitude to the university administration for its unwavering support and encouragement of young talent and exceptional competencies.
Engineer Mufid Alawneh highlighted that the conference served as a valuable platform for exchanging expertise and exploring the latest advancements in technology and engineering across various fields. Participants had the opportunity to learn about significant scientific achievements presented by over 50 leading Russian companies, prestigious universities, research centers, and public institutions.
Notably, the conference provided Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie with the chance to showcase its innovative technological contributions, including a ventilator developed by the university’s engineering team during the COVID-19 pandemic, in dedicated discussion sessions.
The conference featured participants from the Russian Federation and 63 other countries, including representatives from 95 international higher education institutions.
