In partnership with the Palestinian Agricultural Relief and the Ministry of Agriculture and as part of a project to strengthen agricultural production of Palestinian farmers, Kadoorie organized a scientific seminar under the title “Treated Waste Water Reuse in Palestine ... Prospects and Challenges”. In this context, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Dr. Tahseen Saiera stressed the importance of the agricultural sector and its vital role in providing employment opportunities and as a leverage of the national economy of the Palestinian sectors; adding that the use of treated wastewater is used to solve a large part of irrigation problems and helps maintain water reserves. The seminar included two sessions in which topics of scientific papers on water reuse were discussed.
