Palestine TechnicalUniversity-Kadoorie opened its gates to the new academic year 2017-2018 with more than 8,000 students in all the University's faculties at both the headquarters and the branches in Ramallah and Al-Arroub.
In cooperation with Students Union Council and under the patronage of Jawwal, the University organized a ceremony to welcome more than 2400 students in all the university’sfaculties and branches and in the presence of the academic and administrative staff of the university.
In this context, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mu’tamed Al-Khateebcalled upon the students' to invest in the academic opportunities provided by the university and its vast array of scholarships.
For his part, the Assistant of the President for Public Relations and Community Affairs, Dr. Ihab Al-Qubajconveyed the greetings of the University's president, Prof. Marwan Awartani, stressingKadoorie’s national and regional status, emphasizing that Kadoorie’s graduates were able to demonstrate their competence and competitiveness at the local and international labor market.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hussein Shank called upon the studentsto enrich their academic life with values of cooperation, innovation, teamwork, leadership and openness that could all be honed via participating in the various extracurricular activities in all the university’s fields.
