Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie took part in a specialized academic competition in Corporate governance, which has been launched by Palestinian Capital Market Authority(PCMA)incorporation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Throughout the mutual cooperation agreement, which is the first of being signed between PTUK and PCMA among the Palestinian universities, the competition aims at enrolling a corporate governance course in the syllabus for the College of Business and Economy.
Head of Accounting Information Systems, Dr. Fadi Herzallah stressed the importance of the competition and its role in raising the level of the students’ awareness and abilities in the Governance subject.
He added on that the competition events will be launched on Nov 6, 2017 and will be lasting for two weeks in which 85 students, divided into groups, will be trained by the hands of an exceptional academic cadre from the university and its branches’.
It is worth mentioning that the winning group will be participating to compete at a national level with the Palestinian universities.
