The President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Prof Nour Abu-Rub has met for the first time the academic staff to discuss the university’s developmental orientations especially the scientific research and academic criteria. Prof Abu-Rub stressed that the university has indeed young academic and highly skilled research staff that could drive the university towards development, adding that scientific research will be based on bridging scientific exchange between the researchers in the university with international counterparts to achieve joint research that can be published in peer reviewed journals aiming at leveraging the university to compete locally and internationally. He also affirmed team work among the staff to come up with high quality education and to build a generation of students able to excel, innovate and sustain development through enhancing scientific research, offering quality programs, improving academic staff, and creating attractive learning atmosphere.
