With a participation of 250 competitive projects from 22 countries, students from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie have won the first four levels in the competition of the International Festival for Sciences, Engineering and Technology that is being conducted in Tunisia at this time and will end up on Saturday March 24, 2018.
The student, Mufeed Alawneh, has won first place for his agricultural project “Wireless Irrigation System” and the student Sabri Odeh leveled second for his project developing the “Ambulance Stretcher” in the field of engineering.
Abdul Rahman Abu Musa, got third for his engineering project “Cycling in Virtual Environment”, while Laith Ishtawi won third place for his project “Lawn Removal Robot” in the field of Robot technology .
The Director of Innovation and Education Technology Center, Amjad Al Masri explained that participating in the competition falls within the framework of the activities of the Center’s vision that aims to promote leadership and innovation among the students through their participation in local, regional and international innovative activities.
Ra’e (wonderful) is a scientific and innovative yearly program that was launched at the beginning of 2016 – 2017, aims at raising the students’ scientific abilities to develop their creative ideas to become real projects.
