Two PTUK Teams Participate in the Arab Programming Contest 2018


Two teams from Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie have taken part in the Arab Programming Contest 2018 alongside with 7 teams from Polytechnic University, Hebron University, Birzeit University and Arab American University – Jenin, which took place in Amman, Jordan. The Head of the Computer Engineering Systems Department, Dr. Mohammad Khalil pointed out that the participation indicated an important trend to the professional programming level of the participating universities as the contest is the oldest and biggest computer competition in the world aiming at distinguishing the students to advanced levels of professionalism throughout bringing in international programming trainers. Dr. Khalil also said that it has been agreed to bring in the international programming expert, Hasan Alhemish, to train the students for 3 months creating a competitive atmosphere among the students to reach high levels of readiness representing the University in the international forums.
