The Department of Information Technology at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporationin Tulkarem, organized a ceremony honoring 70 students who successfully completed their participation in a training course in press and media skills. Attended the ceremony were the Dean of Sciences and Arts College, Dr. Rabab Jarrar, the Head of the IT Department Dr. Mohammad Shtewi, the Ministry of Information’s Tulkarem Office Director Dr. Binan Nazzal, the Director of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporationin Tulkarem Dr. Ahmad Bajawi along with trainees and IT students. Dr. Jarrar said that the partnership between the university and the local media institutions comes within the university vision acquainting the students with the necessary media skills and the practical experiences needed for the local market, which will open new horizons for the students putting them on the road of success. She noted that the university is seeking to sign memoranda of understanding with media institutions to join the efforts of organizing more training courses and workshops in the future.
