Prof. Daoud Zatari, President of Palestine Technical University- Kadoorie, received in his office a delegation from Liverpool Hope University headed by Dr. Michael Lavalette, head of the department of Social Care, Work and Justice, and consisted of a number of lecturers and students from Liverpool University
In the meeting, prof. Daoud Zatari welcomed the delegation to Kadoorie and appreciated their interest to visit the university. He then presented the University's glorious history and its different academic programs in the technical fields as it is the only governmental Technical University in the West Bank.
Moreover, Prof. Zatari stated that the Palestinians are suffering from the Israeli occupation in general and the university in particular where the Israeli attacks on the University lands confiscate more than 200 acres to build the Apartheid Wall.
Dr. Michael Lavalette thanked the president for his hospitality and valued the university’s efforts in serving the community. He then expressed the British support for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
The delegation met Mr. Munther Nasrallah, Dean of student Affairs, then they took a tour in the university's campus.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Samer Alnajjar, Dean of Planning, Development and quality and Mr. Azmi Saleh, Director of the Public Relations Unit.
