The Assistant of the University President at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Dr. Derar Eleyyan, convened with the Vice-President of the University of the West of England-Bristol (UWE) - Professor Paul Alumlai. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the possibility of cooperation in the academic field through developing academic programs and faculty members’ capacities in the fields of research and teaching to devote the University's presence at the global level. Eleyyan also added that the two parties discussed the study of the development of a joint master program in software engineering, as well as joint bachelor programs that enables the students to study for a year at University of the West of England-Bristol (UWE). For his part, Alumlai stressed the importance of the meeting as it enabled the two parties to sketch the bold lines of partnership within the framework of academic exchange and expressed the university’s intent to start drafting a memorandum of understanding that would clarify aspects of cooperation.
