The Associate Professor at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Dr. Wael Salah concluded his international participation in the conference: “the 8 series of IEEE Symposium on Computer Applications & Industrial Electronics (ISCAIE 2018)” which was held on April 27-29, 2018 in Penang, Malaysia. Dr. Salah said that the conference included the participation of different researchers from many countries where eighty scientific research papers were presented and discussed. The Associate Professor headed the first session in which he contributed to the evaluation and decision of which papers should be proposed to the conference. On the conference sideline, Dr. Salah conducted a visit to the University of Science, Malaysia where he discussed means of enhancing joint research cooperation, in addition to the presentation of a brief introduction about PTUK development and future projects. He also went on to take a short tour to the University of Tanku Abdul Rahman to talk about the status of energy in Palestine, presenting therein the current research projects that are being conducted to generate clean energy.
