Within the framework of Erasmus +, Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie has participated in the workshop held at Middlesex University London to learn about the modern programming used in the forensic computing science alongside with TheUniversityofJordan, Princess Sumaya University for Technology - Jordan, University of Calgary- Italy and Middlesex University London.
The workshop, which was attended by the University President Assistant Dr. Dirar Elyyan and the Director of Innovation in Teaching Center Dr. Mahmoud Jazzar, aimed at exposing the participants to the laboratories and modern technologies used in teaching the course of Forensic Computing, which will be adopted by Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie as a minor study program for the students of Computer Engineering and Applied Computing.
Dr. Elyyan said that the project will last for three years to develop a fully-fledged forensic computing curriculum that is not only used in countering cyper crimes such as computer piracy, child pornography, tax evasion and drug trafficking but also to recover lost, fragmented and deleted information in a modern world that is dominated by large data and storage problems.
